Customs clearance notes for Middle East vehicle imports
Document sets, model-year rules and inspection points that frequently delay first-time imports into GCC markets.

GCC markets generally require a certificate of origin, commercial invoice, bill of lading and, for some countries, a conformity certificate.
Model-year restrictions exist in several markets and are applied at the point of entry. Confirm the rule for the specific country before the vehicle is loaded.
Inspection is routine. Photograph the vehicle at loading and keep the images with the shipment file; they are the reference if condition is questioned on arrival.
